Welcome to Heartwood
African Gallery & Imports
Africa may be a world away from Southern Alberta, but stepping through our door brings you just a little bit closer. The authenticity of our African giftware, art & décor pieces is guaranteed, because we import them ourselves, direct from Africa.
Working with a variety of creative sources and countries allows us to showcase an array of African treasures. While ensuring gainful employment to the artisans who create each piece this also allows us to present a collection to our customers that we can be proud of. We love to share and introduce new items regularly, always striving to capture the quality and uniqueness that says AFRICA.
We hope this website accurately reflects the experience of visiting us in person. Many of the borders and graphic elements presented here are sourced from authentic fabric designs offered for sale. Browse the photos displaying the variety of wares sold on our floor. Expect nothing less when you visit the gallery in person – presentation and attention to detail that captures the warmth of Africa to share with you.
We thank you for viewing our website and extend a warm invitation for you to stop in to visit the gallery soon!
